    Sign up now, in the BMC office, for the 2004 TeeTime golf discount booklet.   The cost is $45.00 per booklet.  As a Member of APWU, Local 7048 you receive a $5 per book discount off the regular price of $50.00.

     According to the TeeTime website, three new courses have been added for 2004.  Those courses are:

  • Three Little Bakers -  Delaware

  • Allentown Municipal -  Allentown,  Pennsylvania

  • Willow Brook - New Jersey

     Willowbrook is an excellent course near Rancocas and has never before offered discounts (to my knowledge).

     These discount books make great Christmas presents.  The deadline for ordering book sis December 10, 2003.  Payment must be made upon placing order.

 Local 7048 members and their families can now visit a new indoor skateboard park in Philadelphia at a discount due to their union membership.

Title 10 Skate Park is located at 901 N. Delaware Ave., 1 block north of Spring Garden St.

Title 10 is offering our members a 10% discount “across the board” on session fees, membership fees, and any specials now offered or available during the coming year. Just show your union membership card to take advantage of this offer.

CHAMPION CAR & TRUCK RENTAL

    

Champion Car & Truck Rental, located in the same building as Local 7048, has agreed to offer our members great discounts on all vehicle rentals. 

Champion offers a full line of vehicles for rental.  Pick-up can be arranged for any of their four locations:  Byberry Rd, Essignton Ave., Street Rd, and City Line Ave.   All rentals, however, must be made through the Byberry Road office, in advance.

Champion also has contacts around the country.  So, if your planning a trip, they may be able to arrange a rental at your destination at a better rate than you could get on our own!
